The session
Gentle direction from the first minute: easy prompts, room to play and time to settle in. Kids, pets and camera nerves are all welcome.

I cull and color every frame by hand, in the same cinematic grade you see on this page.

No per-person fees up to 15 people. Pets and babies under 1 are always free.
The Essential Family covers up to 6 people and The Signature Family up to 8, both booked online at a flat price. A bigger family moves up a tier: 7 to 8 people book The Signature Family, and 9 or more book The Generations Session. Its $1,025 starting price covers up to 15 people; each person beyond 15 adds $25, travel beyond Seattle / Kitsap is quoted with your request, and I confirm its final price with you before any payment.

Good to know
What should we wear?
Coordinate rather than match. Choose two or three colors that sit well together, add some texture like knit, linen or denim, and skip big logos and busy prints. After you book I send a short guide, and I'm happy to look over outfit options by text.
Can we bring the kids, or the dog?
Please do. I keep direction playful, let little ones set the pace and build in breaks, so nobody has to hold a smile for long. Dogs are welcome too; bring a friend to hold the leash for the frames of just the two of you. Pets and babies under 1 never count toward a family package's headcount.
How many people can a family session include?
No per-person fees up to 15 people. Pets and babies under 1 are always free. The Essential Family covers up to 6 people and The Signature Family up to 8, both booked online at a flat price. A bigger family moves up a tier: 7 to 8 people book The Signature Family, and 9 or more book The Generations Session. Where do we shoot?
Anywhere that feels like you: a park, a beach, a forest trail, a city street or your own living room. I suggest spots around Seattle and Kitsap that suit the light at your session time. For bigger landscapes like Mt. Rainier or the San Juan Islands, look at The Adventure Session.
What if the weather turns?
Soft Pacific Northwest light and a little drizzle make beautiful frames, so a grey day is rarely a reason to move. If the weather turns severe, we reschedule at no extra charge and your retainer carries over in full.
How many photos will we get?
Couples sessions include 15 edited photos in The Essential Couple, 25–30 in The Signature Romance and 40+ in The Adventure Session. Family sessions include 20 edited photos in The Essential Family, 35 in The Signature Family and 50+ in The Generations Session. Every gallery is curated by hand and delivered in a private online gallery within 30 days.
